The Fit Finder app
Terms of use
The agreement between you and us when you use the Fit Finder app and its subscriptions. Please read it together with the app privacy policy.
Last updated: 23 October 2026 · Version 1
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and SocialClimb Marketing LTD, trading as Fit Finder, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16858678), registered office 67 Illingworth, Windsor, SL4 4UP, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@getfitfinder.co.
By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms. Our app privacy policy (https://getfitfinder.co/app/privacy) explains how we use your information.
If you downloaded the app from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA) also applies, and section 11 below applies. If you downloaded it from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply to your purchase. If these terms conflict with a store’s terms on a point the store requires, the store’s terms apply on that point.
2. What Fit Finder does, and what it does not do
- Fit Finder looks at a piece of clothing in a photo you choose and suggests products from online shops that look similar, with prices where a shop shows one and links to the shop.
- We do not sell anything. When you buy, you buy from the shop or marketplace, on its terms. Delivery, returns, refunds, sizing and product quality are between you and that shop.
- Identification is done by AI and may be wrong. Results may not be the exact item, brand or model. A “similar” result is a suggestion, not a promise that it is the same item. Check the listing before you buy.
- Prices and stock are set by shops and can change at any time. A price in the app is what was seen at the time shown and may be out of date when you open the shop. If no price could be confirmed, the app says so rather than estimating one.
- Some shops are reviewed by us. Others are labelled “Seller not checked by Fit Finder”. That includes resale marketplaces, where individual sellers list items. We do not vouch for any shop or seller. Take care, especially with second-hand and high-value items.
- No commission. We do not earn commission or payment from shops for showing or ranking them, and results are not ordered by payments from shops. If this ever changes, we will tell you in the app and update these terms before it takes effect.
3. Your account
You need an account to search. During the beta you sign in with an email address and a one-time code sent to that address.
You must be at least 15 years old to use the app.
Keep access to your email account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
You can delete your account at any time in the app (You → Review account deletion) or at https://api.getfitfinder.co/account/delete. There is a 72-hour window in which you can cancel the request; after that, deletion is permanent. Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription (see section 5).
4. Search allowance (fair use)
Each search has a real cost to us, so every plan has a weekly allowance. There is no unlimited plan.
- Free: 3 photo searches a week.
- Fit Finder Pro (weekly or monthly): 25 photo searches a week.
- The week resets every Monday at 00:00 UTC (1am in British Summer Time). Unused searches do not roll over.
- A photo counts once in a week, however many times you retry or refine it, and only once it shows you results. A search that fails, finds nothing or is cancelled does not use your allowance.
We may change allowances for future weeks. If we reduce a paid allowance, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel before the change applies to you. We may pause searches for everyone if a provider fails or a spending limit is reached; searches that do not complete do not use your allowance.
5. Subscriptions
Fit Finder Pro is an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. The plans and prices are the same on both stores:
- Weekly: £4.99 per week. No free trial.
- Monthly: £14.99 per month, with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The store decides eligibility (for example, if you have had a Fit Finder trial or subscription before, you may not be eligible).
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase or, if you start a free trial, when the trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you cancel during the free trial before it ends, you will not be charged.
- To cancel: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. After cancelling, you keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
- We may change prices for future periods. The store will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your agreement. You can cancel before a change applies to you.
Cancellation rights. When you subscribe, you ask for the service to start straight away. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you then lose the 14-day right to cancel once the service has started, but you keep all your other legal rights, including store refunds under the store’s policies.
6. Photos and acceptable use
You keep ownership of your photos. You give us permission to store and process each photo crop only to run your search, for the short time described in the privacy policy, including sending it to our AI provider.
When you use the app you agree:
- to upload only photos you have the right to use for a search, including screenshots;
- to frame only the piece of clothing: crops must not show people’s faces, and you must never upload images of children;
- not to upload anything illegal, sexual, violent, hateful or that invades anyone’s privacy;
- not to misuse the service: no automated or bulk searching, scraping, reselling access, getting around allowances or limits, reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, or attempts to break security or overload the service.
The app asks you to confirm that a crop excludes faces and that you have the right to use it. These are your confirmations; the app does not run face recognition. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these rules. Where reasonable we will tell you why first. If we close your account without good reason while you have a paid subscription, we will give you a pro-rata refund for the unused part of the period you have paid for.
7. Our content and your licence
The app and its content belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, as allowed by the store you downloaded it from. Product names, images and brands in results belong to their owners and are shown only to help you find the item.
8. Changes and availability
Fit Finder is a new service and is in beta. It may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change. If we make a change that significantly affects a paid subscription, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel. If we close the service, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice where we can.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
9. Our responsibility to you
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have legal rights, including that digital content and services are provided with reasonable care and skill and as described. Nothing in these terms limits those rights, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for:
- goods, prices, delivery, returns or any other part of a purchase from a shop or seller: your contract for those is with them;
- the content of shop or marketplace websites we link to;
- losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you started using the app, or business losses (the app is for personal use only).
Subject to the first paragraph of this section, our total liability to you for anything relating to the app is limited to the greater of £50 or the amount you paid for Fit Finder subscriptions in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Complaints and contact
Please contact hello@getfitfinder.co first; we aim to reply within 5 working days. For privacy questions, see the privacy policy.
11. If you got the app from Apple
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- Apple is not responsible for any claims by you or anyone else relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
- If anyone claims the app infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with it.
- You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
12. General
- If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
- We may transfer this agreement to another business that takes over Fit Finder, in a way that does not reduce your rights. We will tell you if this happens.
- No one other than you, us and, for section 11, Apple has rights under these terms.
- If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
13. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring claims in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims in your local courts, and your local mandatory consumer law still applies.
